Haunted shit: I love ghost stories! I'm not asking for characters as ghosts, I'm asking for the requested characters as the protagonists of a ghost story with a random OC ghost/ghost of someone who is canon-dead haunting them. ;) Spooooooooky shit happens to them!
Setting AUs: I prefer these to maintain characters' abilities and the tone/power level of their relationships with each other. Also. Art is super duper welcome.

Dazai Osamu: I love him. Please make him suffer!
Fukuzawa Yukichi: I also love him. Please let him be in fic or art, and also consider hurting him by hurting his employees, or by forcing him to crawl through broken glass for them. <3
Dazai Osamu/Nakahara Chuuya: I ship this very, very hard. I enjoy their hate-love thing, and the way they both pretend they don’t care--but it’s blatant they both do.
Fukuzawa Yukichi/Dazai Osamu: Rare ship, crack ship, I don’t care, I love it. Dazai brings Atsushi into the ADA without asking him, and when Fukuzawa *is* asked, he just says “I’ll leave it up to Dazai”. Fierce shade throw? Quiet declaration of faith? A deliberate act to leave Atsushi a bundle of nerves around him? No idea!
I’d really like Fukuzawa quietly and firmly guiding Dazai away from being a terrifying mess of a human being--maybe Dazai noticing and scoffing, and then confused at how much he wants to please Fukuzawa. I’d also love Fukuzawa being quietly terrifying and protective of Dazai.
Fukuzawa Yukichi/Nakahara Chuuya: Even crackier! Small and tall is my kryptonite. And Fukuzawa’s ability could allow Chuuya to control his--always good!
Canon character can see ghosts: I *love* people seeing ghosts that no one else can, and doing their best to keep it secret, or using the information for their own profit, or pretending to be psychic with the info. Honestly cool with any requested character being able to see the dead, but it being Dazai or Fukuzawa would have a lot of really interesting possibilities. :D
Ghost hunters: You can go goofy or serious with this--maybe there's a cash reward for video evidence of ghosts, and Atsushi is *so there*, or they're investigating an old case by pretending to be ghost hunters, or their dorms are haunted and they need to find the ghost before it freezes the pipes again. Or maybe Dazai deals with his grief by not just trying to save the living, but also the dead.
Major canon location is haunted: I mean. Their dorms or the agency is fine. More than fine, really. Ghost cats that love Fukuzawa too much to leave? An old ghost that no one knows the name of? A poltergeist born of Kyouka and Atsushi's fears is destroying the dorms, and Fukuzawa has to to lay to rest?
Character is haunted: Chuuya in a coma (not dead!) and haunting Dazai or Fukuzawa for no reason he understands? Oda haunts Dazai when it rains? Purring ghost cats that follow Fukuzawa (Art???? :D :D)? A poltergeist born from Dazai's depression and malaise is actually trying to kill him?
Snowed in at haunted hotel: Poe book where they're all hotel staff trying not to reenact the Shinning? Or an AU where Fukuzawa decides that the perfect retirement from assassination business is actually running a remote--and extremely haunted--bed and breakfast/ryoken, and all the other ADA members come as guests or staff, and then can't leave. I mean, crack is welcome. In this particular case, if you want Ranpo to be the ghost--and star attraction--of the ryoken, then I'd find that both hilarious and appropriate.
ADA moonlights as exorcists and curse breakers in between murder cases: What it says on the tin. I would *love* case fic for this, lol. Or fic where Chuuya's picked up a curse or a ghost, and has to go to Dazai or Fukuzawa to get it fixed. :D
Canon setting has Silent Hill style Otherworld: Abruptly, Yokohama has spells of being foggy and spooky as fuck, with hundreds of monsters wandering the street.
Apocalypse/Survival: The world ended, but they’re still there. Ideally, this is a canon AU where the world ended in the last few months, and the Mafia and the ADA are trying to hold Yokohama together, and get enough food for the coming winter, and scavenging. I *love* worldbuilding apocalypse stories, so feel free to just go to town on the details and survival parts. There can be zombies! Or not zombies. Maybe wifi just stopped working... or there was a plague that killed 80% of non-ability users.
Mad Max AU: The world ended, much like above, but also there’s a desert and an awful lot of leather. And there’s CARS. Not going to lie, I would love art for this. Super love it.
Sex Pollen AU: everything is the same, except there's an annual sex pollen season that people react to in varying levels of intensity. Some poor sufferers are just *desperate* to get fucked, and others don't even notice that the flowers have bloomed. I'm imagining Dazai and/or Chuuya as being severely affected by it, and Fukuzawa as being only very mildly affected, just to be really clear. Or, like. Just plain sex pollen. I don't need worldbuilding! Desperation to get fucked is fine however you want to write it! All requested ships cool, would prefer not sex pollen gen fic.
Western/Wild West with powers/magic: Ideally everyone keeps their abilities, but now there’s saloons, sheriffs, and cowboys! Cowboys that herd cattle by drawing wards in the dust, sheriffs who keep order with a crack team of genius deputies and a generous amount of sword fighting, and saloons that trade in magic mushrooms alongside the whiskey (the mushrooms are literally magic). Keep their abilities, and a vague analog of their relationships, and go for it!
Dark Fantasy AU: Ideally everyone keeps their abilities, but now there’s taverns and dungeons and dragons! And a brisk soul trade, demons walking in men’s skins, and contagious curses that steal the voices of children. Keep their abilities, and a vague analog of their relationships, and go for it! (Not super into vampires. Werewolves, though! I like werewolves.)
Canon is 100x more gothic and foreboding: Canon, but Yokohama is a gargoyle filled Gothem-esque city where the sun never really shines and strange things crawl through the fog. The fog might be ghosts. The weather is *always* dramatic. Thunder accompanies all dramatic proclamations. The Port Mafia deals in souls. Yokohama’s underworld is frighteningly reminiscent of Fallen London...Take your pick!
Dazai cannot die: No matter how hard he tries, all he can do is hurt himself. He's 22 and immortal, far as he can tell--and he has tested it a great many times. Maybe he thinks it's part of No Longer Human and seeks out Fukuzawa, hoping to control it enough to be able to die? Or Fukuzawa or Chuuya find him after a particularly messy attempt at dying?
Dazai dragged Chuuya with him when he left the Port Mafia: And then they join ADA, also together. Discuss in any manner you want. :D
Heroes and Villains are actually colluding to scam everyone else: Chuuya and Dazai never lost contact, and fake being enemies for...profit? Lol, I don't care. Give me secret besties and friends with benefits Chuuya/Dazai!

No real worldbuilding needed, just, canon with a known side effect of having an ability being that every 4-5 years of their lives most ability users will go into heat and be desperate to get fucked. Maybe it happens sooner if they get hurt or are really afraid. Maybe one of them going into heat can drag another one into it if they aren't careful.
